Costly conversion

A MISSED conversion saw Glossop Rugby Club’s under-15s beaten 31-29 at Tyldesley on Sunday.
In a game where the lead switched four times, Glossop saw Josh Pugh, Callum Whytock, Sam Galligan, Curtis Strong and David Marchlewski cross for tries, Galligan adding a brace of conversions.
However, the under-12s were 71-0 winners at Heaton Moor with Adam McCarthy (four), Joe Wragg (three), Robert Cullinane (two), Aidan Jackson and William Wray going over.
Jake Robinson, Rhys James, Ben Sharp, Edward Winbow and William Wray all added conversions.
