GLOSSOP North End’s under-eights began their 2008/09 campaign last weekend at Denton Youth FC’s six-a-side tournament.

They played eight games, winning two, drawing five and losing one for a total of 11 points.

Their only defeat came when they played the eventual winners, Communities United. They finished third overall with Will Needham named as their player of the tournament.
