FRUITY: parents and tots enjoy a healthy picnic in Manor Park

OUT with the cake and in with the fruit salads! Is there no escape? Even picnics have become the preserve of healthy eating. And youngsters are not excluded.
Those from Gamesley childminders group enjoyed some finger-picking healthy treats like carrots, grapes and celery.
They were taken out to Manor Park in Glossop for a taste of sunshine to enjoy with their healthy picnic lunches.
Unfortunately, the weather was a bit patchy but the group still had enormous fun.
As well as their healthy snacks they enjoyed some healthy activities in the park from reading to playing games. The childminders group is based at Gamesley Early Excellence Centre.
