Police hunt for perfume thieves

POLICE are appealing for information after a large quantity of perfume was stolen from a factory in Glossop.

Offenders broke into the premises through a hole which had been boarded up in the wall and stole several pallets of well-known perfumes.

They are thought to have then loaded the stolen goods into a vehicle before making off.

The four brands were Versace Red Jeans and Versace Blue Jeans, Moschino and Police Interactive.

PC Kerry Buxton, of Glossop CID, said: "We are looking at CCTV from around the area, but we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, particularly anyone who has been offered any of the perfumes, maybe at a cut price."

The perfume theft took place on Sunday at around 6.50pm.
