Fire crews free tot from ball machine

IT'S hard enough to separate tots from their toys.

And for one mum it was almost impossible after her four-year-old boy got his arm stuck in a ball machine.

The toddler was playing at 'Just Magic' play centre on Surrey Street, Glossop when he found himself in the sticky situation.

He reached into the machine - which eats balls and fires them out the other side - but because he was wearing a watch, his arm became wedged in the pipe.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to free the distressed youngster, who had been trapped for around an hour, at 1pm on Wednesday.

Crews used a hacksaw to cut through the pipe and said the tot was 'very brave.'
