Make a date with cheeky calendar girls

A GROUP of women are in the pink after posing for a cheeky charity calendar.
Seven Glossopdale women agreed to pose as Mother Nature intended — well almost — to raise funds for the Breakthrough for Breast Cancer charity.
Nicolette Peel — who appears on the page for March — was one of those who volunteered to do something for the charity. Mum Nicolette, of Gladstone Street, Hadfield said: "It was an idea of one of my friends, Stephanie Bland, who had done something similar once before and suggested to all of us, ‘why don’t we do this?’
"It’s all very tongue-in-cheek and you can’t see anything naughty!"
All the pages feature a dollop of something pink — the adopted colour of the charity. The group, which included four women from Manchester and one from London, posed for the 2009 calendar in Stephanie’s farmhouse.
Nicolette, 36, is married to husband James and they have two children Joe, aged four and two-year-old Ella. She taught in a primary school in Gorton and was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer.
The calendar is not the only fund-raising event the ladies have been involved with, having held a ‘pink’ party at Glossop Cricket Club recently and a sponsored walk and cake sale, which together raised more than £2,000 for the charity.
