The Papers
The Tameside and Glossop Advertisers provide unrivalled coverage to all of the local communities within the area. We have an excellent classified section coupled with the strong editorial links which have been established over the years, the newspaper keeps readers well informed on all the important local issues.

The Market
Created in 1974, Tameside has a resident population of 221,000. Tameside covers an area of 40 miles centred on the river Tame. There are nine towns within the Authority boundaries: Ashton, Mossley, Droylsden, Audenshaw, Denton, Stalybridge, Dukinfield, Mottram and Hyde.

Glossop is situated in the extreme West of Derbyshire surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery of the Peak District and yet is only 14 miles from Manchester.

Tameside is unrivalled as a residential and business location. Nestling between the foothills of the Pennines and the edge of the Peak district, the borough lies at the heart of the country's second largest regional centre.

Tameside has seen a significant amount of both inward and indigenous investment in the last year.

Communication Links
Tameside lies just 7 miles to the East of Manchester City Centre, meaning that 60% of the UK's population lies within a 2 hour drive. Manchester International Airport is less than 20 minutes away.

Glossop is situated close to the borders of Derbyshire and Cheshire and is well connected to many of South Manchester's main towns. It is a 15 minute drive from Ashton-under-Lyne, 20 minutes from Stockport and 20 minutes from Marple.
