FIVE cars were damaged during a vandalism spree in Glossop town centre in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

The front window of a Ford Fiesta was smashed on Victoria Street and a Nissan Micra had its rear window shattered and a wing mirror kicked off on Gladstone Street. The wing mirror of a Volvo 540 on Kershaw Street suffered the same fate.

Two cars were targeted on Princess Street: A Vauxhall Corsa was kicked, as was the door of a BMW, which caused a large dent.
